Maura Widjaja (AUS)

Maura Widjaja is an Australian, Indonesian-born, and Berlin based UI / UX Designer. Her personal interest in character design is inspired by her positive, true story experiences with her numerous pets and animal encounters in her life, especially during tough times in her childhood. This motivates her through her personal project to share these little stories, to bring happiness and hope to others. With her versatile background in Multimedia Design and Computer Science, she is particularly fascinated in combining art and technology, especially in creating experiences for children edutainment.
During her design study, she has awarded as 2nd winner National Design Graphics Magazine Cover Competition – Australia wide. She also engages in several innovative Hackathon team events, awarded such as Spotify API Prize at Connected Car Media Hackday Berlin, and Audience Choice Award through Monster Pet Store app at TV Hackday Berlin.
