Soledad Àguila (CL)
Soledad Aguila is a visual and moving image artist based in Santiago, Chile. From traditional drawings to mixed media animation, her work explores natural wild life and environmental topics to portray moments, atmospheres and microcosms through non-linear narratives. Her world is composed of a variety of natural places and surroundings, inhabited by anthropomorphic characters and wild animals, which emerge from a collection of visual notes and sounds. Since her studies of Animation (MA) at the Royal College of Art in London, she has been pursuing this methodology, be it for commissioned work as Animation Director and Concept Designer, freelance, or as a lecturer in different universities in her country and abroad.
