Scarlett Nimz (GER)
Scarlett Minz is an animator and illustrator born and raised in Berlin. As the daughter of a costume painter she grew up in a creative surrounding, starting to craft and create on her own from her early years on. Venturing into her bachelor studies in visual communication, she realized that her heart belongs somewhere else. So for her Master´s degree she refocused her creative energy onto learning how to give life to images. Starting in a mostly flat 2D tweened animation style, she now prefers to use a hand drawn frame by frame approach. Besides that she loves to work on none-moving images such as doodles and illustrations. She is currently working as a freelancer for private clients and ad agencies, in addition to producing her own animated short film „The big blush“.
