Amaya Uscola (SP)
Amaya Uscola is a Spanish author and artist commanded by two large eyes. She is in love with ideas, images and words. Focused on the richness of drawing, she has always explored the power of line to express personal symbols, feelings and fantasies. Tracing lines as combined figurative, imaginary and written elements, she produces art-vignettes and character designs for editorial and commercial.
Amaya enjoys presenting her original works in exhibitions. She also created some artist and picture books: “The Flying Heart”, “Memorias de Pez”, “Hambre de Mariposas” and “Life is Poo!”. The latest being an ode to her cute and stubborn puppy, Bruce.
