Makoto Koji (JP)
Makoto Koji is a Japanese Animator and Illustrator, born in Hiroshima and raised in the wilderness of rural Australia. Her work blends Japanese and Western aesthetics with a vibrant, pop energy. It reflects her upbringing full of cartoons and art from both cultures.
Makoto has animated for feature films, games, television series and commercials and produces illustrations for editorial, children’s books and toys. Alongside these experiences, she develops her own stories featuring cute and cheeky characters through her brand Paper Rabbits.
