Ola Liola (ISR)
Ola Liola is an illustrator and artist born in Ukraine, raised in Israel, and now based in Berlin. Best known for her multicoloured and patterned animal illustrations, a lot of Ola’s work is self initiated and sold online, though recent works include commissioned tattoo designs, T-shirt designs, music album covers, and book illustrations. Ola constantly experiments with inks, watercolours, and acrylic gouache, always in search for new techniques. Ola’s style and creative thinking were shaped by Ukrainian folk art and witchcraft, combining old traditions with modern directions. Her works have been exhibited in Israel and Berlin.
