Ulrich Jakob (GER)
Ulrich Jakob is a sculptor and character designer located in Halle (Saale), Germany. Already in his youth he discovered his passion for sculpting, accompanied by a deep interest for creatures and characters, their stories and fantastic worlds. After his studies of ‘Design Of Playing And Learning’ the idea took shape to fuse all his interests and passions into one—and make a profession of it. As founder of neat-feature studio, he is currently working as a freelance puppet maker for stop motion animation movies, including prop- and coulisse building. In addition he also combines his plastic arts and character design for sculptures, miniatures and toy design. His ultimate thrill is to watch his creatures and characters become alive on screen.
